Bradley Beal Elite MS League News/Notes

2024 G Anthony Gause (IL)

Gause used his length, skill and athleticism to dominate in a blowout game at the Bradley Beal Elite Middle School League. The skilled combo knocked down shots behind the arc and sank a few pull ups from the foul line. He really excelled in transition where he threw several slick no-look dimes. When the occasion called for Gause showed that he could easily take it all the way himself.

2025 G Braden Butler (MO)

Butler got his shine on today playing with his favorite go-to forward Nicholas Randall. The chemistry of the guard/forward duo was obvious and allowed Braden to really stand out in their two-man sets, including screen and roll, drive and dish, post entry passes and finding Randall open on his rim runs in transition. Braden has a nice shot and a definite feel for the game that allowed him to have a good balance between scoring and setting up teammates.

2026 G Emery Woehrmann(MO)

It was hard to believe that Emery is only a 6th grader after observing his play today. The small guard was comfortable playing amidst all of the 8th graders and showed a lot of offensive leadership. Emery was excellent with the ball in his hands, shifting the defense by moving the ball side to side, protecting the ball, finding open teammates and communicating. Emery has a pretty shot with range out to three. He also stood out because of his ability to move without the ball and consciously keeping good floor spacing.

2024 F Jordan Miller (MO)

Miller used his height and energy to dominate the boards. His rebounding and ability to quickly get the ball in the hands of his guards made him a strong asset for his team on offensive. He has nice size for his position and solid hands. He is still developing his footwork in the post but is still a problem for the defense because of sheer hustle and will. He runs the floor well, protects the lane and has good upside.

2025 F Nicholas Randall (MO)

Randall looks better each time I see him. He is playing with great confidence, finishing with consistency near the basket, knocking down shots from the elbows and the short corner, and rebounding outside of his area. Randall looked comfortable making short dribble moves to get to the rim where he could use his length to his advantage. He also does a good job catching in traffic and gathering himself to score. He runs a good screen and roll and can locate shooters on the pass out of the double team.

2024 G Robin Lucas III (IL)

Lucas is a rugged guard that is tough to stop to the rim. He gets low on the dribble and doesn’t stop unless he’s fouled or reaches the lane. Lucas shoots a nice jumper and can score at all three levels. But although he is capable of knocking down the open shot, he was clearly at his best attacking the rim. He has a nice motor and creates havoc with his on the ball defense.
