The talented wing has done some growing the past year and, according to his coach, now stands at 6-10. Porter has a nice shooting touch with smooth mechanics. He’s accurate out to three when he gets a clean look. His height, length, and athleticism make him a difficult assignment when he gets into shooting motion. Jevon is also a capable ball handler. He looked very comfortable advancing the ball while being closely guarded and seemed to only be bothered when guarded by small, quick guards. Jevon is the younger brother of the Denver Nuggets’ Michael Porter, Jr. and has committed to play for Coach Lorenzo Romar at Pepperdine University.
