Appolon is a forward for Father Tolton and a name that coaches should put on their watchlist. The solidly built forward is only in his second year of organized play and has showed steady improvement since making the leap from junior varsity last year. Appolon does most of his work near the block. He eats up space, doesn’t shy from contact, finishes above the rim, and runs the floor well. Appolon is not polished but that’s part of the attraction. The sophomore has good size, provides points in the paint, and contributes to the success of his team. Even with this early success, Even is just beginning to scratch the surface. It won’t be long before coaches begin to make their way to Columbia to have an early look at this blooming prospect.
